Arida
Everyone wants to get away from live for a bit…this one was just permenant.
She awoke one day to find herself in an empty forest, with little more than a spell book, a wand and a note welcoming her to this world. She recalls who she was but not her own name. But in this world, that old knowledge
won’t help her…or will it?
Her only option should be to push forward and explore, gain allies, but it isn’t. Simply sitting back and doing nothing is also a choice…or even just full assimilation into this world and its odd cast of characters.
But a secrete lies for all…the world is slowly coming to an end, and if she can’t find her way to beat the System Master, then she and all she comes to know will die along with this world.
Background
Arida is a fantasy story….
Its world is filled with magic, magical creatures, and adventure and danger. I originally created the story all the way back in 2012, and it was unique at that time. Today its one of a million stories such as Jumunji: Welcome to the Jungle, Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation and about a billion Japanese Isekai knockoffs of ever diminishing quality. However, unlike your average Dungeons and Dragons knock off, the world is fake, a video game environment. No one was reincarnated here, but rather kidnapped from the real world. The only real question is why?
But why is the least think on the players who roam this would or the NPC’s, or non-playable characters that live here. Each player needs to get seven keys, which are only obtained by playing games accessed through portals located
through out the world, but even those ‘games’ have real risk involved, and its not just their powers and bodies that are being pushed, but their sanity and since of morality.

Does This Trigger you?
Arida is a story about pushing forward and friendship and ultimately finding oneself. But it does deal with: transformation, slavery and kidnapping, as well as magic. All are tame and kept on a sort of 90’s “Disney” level.
